"Why We are Transitioning to Private-Pay Care"
To provide you with the highest standard of care, privacy, and personalized attention, our practice operates on a self-pay model and does not accept insurance.
What This Means For You:
- Complete Privacy & Confidentiality: Insurance companies frequently require detailed medical records, clinical notes, and personal diagnosis info to approve coverage—information that can become part of your permanent record. Paying directly ensures your therapy notes and personal history remain strictly between you and your therapist.
- You Control Your Care (Not Insurance Companies): Insurance providers often dictate how many sessions you can have, what type of therapy you receive, and force a formal diagnosis on your record to qualify for care. We believe those decisions should belong solely to you and your provider.
- Focused, Quality Care: Without the administrative burdens and billing restrictions imposed by insurance panels, our time and focus remain entirely dedicated to supporting your mental health and healing journey.
We are happy to provide a monthly itemized receipt (superbill) upon request for you to submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
